We’ve absolutely loved living here. One of our favourite things about the house is how versatile the living space is and how beautifully it flows, making it just as enjoyable for everyday family life as it is for entertaining friends and family. We particularly love opening up the bi-fold doors in the summer, allowing everyone to move effortlessly between the house and garden. Whether it’s having friends and family round or enjoying a relaxed summer evening, the connection to the garden makes entertaining feel so easy. With its peaceful, green surroundings, it is a real sanctuary. We’ve added lots of touches to make everyday life that little bit more comfortable, from the cosy underfloor heating (particularly lovely to wake up to) to the solar panels which have made a real difference to our energy bills.

The location has been a real highlight, too. Being within easy walking distance of the station makes commuting incredibly convenient, while having the town nearby means shops and cafés are easily accessible. We love being able to cycle out to Swinley Forest with our children and we really have the best of both worlds here: the convenience of being close to town alongside the abundant surrounding green spaces giving us freedom to enjoy the outdoors.

Rectory Lane is ideally positioned in Easthampstead, giving you easy access to Bracknell town centre and all the amenities you’d expect, from shops and restaurants to everyday essentials. You’ve also got plenty of green space close by, which is a really nice bonus. It gives you that balance of being close to everything while still having somewhere nearby to escape for a walk or some fresh air.

This is a really impressive home, and for me, the extension at the back is what makes it. It’s such a big, bright space and you can immediately see why this would become the part of the house where everyone spends their time. The vaulted ceiling, huge island and bi-fold doors just work really well together. There’s also loads of practical stuff here that you don’t always get with an extended home, a big driveway, garage with internal access, utility room and plenty of storage. It’s a house that feels like it’s been designed around how people actually live.
