One of the reasons this side of Ramsgate keeps getting asked for is how quickly you can actually get out of Thanet. Most of us who live here accept the unofficial 20-minute Thanet tax every time we want to leave the island. Not so much here. Jump in the car and within moments you’re on the dual carriageway heading towards Canterbury, London or pretty much anywhere else. So no, architecturally it isn’t going to stop traffic. But it is a good house, in a very good spot, with vacant possession and plenty of potential to make it your own. Sometimes that matters rather more.
