After seeing the house was for sale in the summer of 1982, our mother said she immediately knew she would live there one day; we finally moved in the following spring. She loved the location, opposite the park and within easy walk of the town centre, and soon built up a wide network of friends. She also appreciated the house's history, her role in preserving its features, and learning about its previous occupants. For us as children, it was a wonderful place to grow-up. The proximity to schools and the park meant we had lots opportunity to be outside playing and being with friends. We will be sad to let go of our family home, but really hope another family can enjoy the house and location as much as we have over the years.
