On 1st June 2019 the Tenant Fees Act 2019 came into force, and from this date our permitted payments (inclusive of VAT) chargeable to tenants are as follows:HOLDING DEPOSIT:A maximum of the equivalent of one weeks rent. If additional costs are incurred to cover the time taken to replace the keys these may be charged at £15.00 per hour.VARIATION OF CONTRACT:If the tenant requests a variation to the contract a charge of £50.00 per agreed variation will be payable. All changes are subject to landlord approval.EARLY TERMINATION OF TENANCY:If a tenant requests to terminate their tenancy early then they are responsible for meeting the landlords reasonable costs in permitting the tenant to leave early, and the re-letting of the property.
