OWNERS DETAILS
Having suffered life changing health, I needed to downsize from my previous house to a flat that was large, centrally located with an elevator. I did not want to live within a huge building with excessive service charges and eventually found Centurion Court in which I later acquired the freehold of the building, thus bringing the community together along with lower services charges. This apartment would be a London's buyers dream being spacious and in such a location with 25 minute commute to the City.
Centurion Court accommodates only 7 x three flats in which I consider is one of the best managed buildings in Bedford. As a hands on freeholder living within a small community we are able to keep the service charges very reasonable whilst maintaining the best standards.
In 2024, I completely refurbished the flat and bought new furniture's. In my opinion the flat is now presented to a high standard. The kitchen includes Bosch appliances with quartz's worktops, a bespoke fitted, Martin West fitted furniture to all bedrooms, a fitted entertainment wall, Italian furniture's, John Lewis lighting and more. Ideally the flat would suit a working professional or retired person who are seeking a key turn property within a secure building without maintaining a house.
I am in the opinion that due to the management & community within the building, the apartment being spacious and the location, it is a great choice for capital appreciation whilst waiting for the development of the train station and Universal Studios. The apartment is being sold with the reassurances that the lease is modernised to give the buyer complete peace of mind that the latest legislations are secured.
All furniture is available by negotiation which a first time buyer may find beneficial.
