Chatsworth Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport, Cheshire, SK7 6BT

Listed 9 days ago · Stockport
Located in a really popular part of Hazel Grove, this detached home sits on a great sized plot.
It's quiet, it's private and there's loads of space!
To the front, you've a good sized driveway leading to an attached garage, with access down the side of the house too.
As you step inside, the entrance hall is a really nice welcoming space. It's a great size, with plenty of character and a handy WC tucked away under the stairs.
You've then got two good sized reception rooms. The living room sits at the front, with a lovely bay window, whilst a wide opening leads through to the dining room at the rear.
This is probably one of my favourite rooms in the house. It's got stripped timber flooring, sliding doors opening onto the garden and, with the greenery outside, it feels really peaceful and private.
The kitchen is another good sized space. Whilst it's somewhere you might want to update over time, there's loads of storage and plenty of room to work with. One feature I particularly like is the little bay overlooking the rear garden. A nice spot to look out from whilst you're washing the pots!
Upstairs, you've three good sized bedrooms, two spacious doubles and a really decent single bedroom.
The family bathroom has a practical layout, with a bath, separate shower and wash basin, whilst the WC is in its own separate room.
Outside, there's more than you might expect.
The attached garage sits to the front, but what I really like is the studio space tucked away at the back. It could make a great home office, somewhere for hobbies or art, or simply a nice place to sit and enjoy the garden.
And the garden itself is a real highlight.
It's a great size, beautifully maintained and, importantly, really private. There's a good sized lawn, established planting around the boundaries and a patio area immediately outside the house.
And the location?
You're within easy walking distance of Norbury Hall Primary School and the parade of shops at Fiveways, with Hazel Grove train station and the A555 bypass providing handy connections further afield.
For anyone who enjoys getting outdoors, there's plenty nearby too. Torkington Park and the Middlewood Way are great for local walks, whilst Higher Poynton, Lyme Park and the Peak District offer even more options when you fancy getting out a little further.
For anyone looking for a detached home in a great Hazel Grove location, with plenty of space both inside and out, there's a lot to like here.
