Moorcroft Gardens, Redditch, B97

Listed 5 days ago · Redditch
Living spaces for all the family, a seven car driveway, and it's not overlooked from the front. What more could you need?
Tucked into a sought-after corner of Redditch, this four-bedroom detached home has been steadily updated by its current owners into a bright, spacious base for family life. There’s a bay-fronted lounge for cosy evenings, a snug that flows into the dining room and out to a freshly landscaped garden, a home office for working days, and a driveway with space for up to seven cars. It’s the kind of house that works just as well on a busy Monday morning as it does when the whole family descends on a Sunday.
We asked them what made them buy it...
“It’s a great location, close to everything we need, but the neighbourhood itself is really quiet. We love that the front isn’t overlooked, and it’s such a sought-after area.”
What about the house itself?
“When we moved in it was outdated, so we did a lot cosmetically. The snug and dining room had already been extended, and part of the garage turned into an office, before we arrived. Since then we’ve replaced all the windows, had the en-suite redone with a new shower cubicle, and put in a new boiler in May 2026. The kitchen went in ten years ago but it still feels modern, with Ted Baker tiles, a Laura Ashley splashback, integrated appliances and a boiling water tap. And in August 2026 we had the garden landscaped.”
Our agents say...
This is a fantastic family home, and it’s stunning throughout. The lounge sets the tone straight away, with its bay window, fitted shutters and a media wall made for film nights. But the snug is where we think everyday life will happen. It opens into the dining room, then slides straight out onto the garden, so summer evenings mean doors open and food on the table outside. The rear garden has just been landscaped and is low maintenance, so weekends are for enjoying it, not working on it.
Working from home? The office downstairs gives you a door to close at the end of the day. Upstairs, the bedrooms are a great size, and the main bedroom has its own en-suite with a brand-new shower. Then there’s the driveway. With room for up to seven cars plus a garage, visitors will never be circling the block again.
Add in local shops, schools and road links nearby, with Redditch town centre a short drive away, and you’ve got a home that makes family life that bit easier. Get in touch today and come and see it for yourself.
