A cul-de-sac where everybody says hello, and a home that says it back.
Tucked away on the end of the row in a Redditch cul-de-sac, this three-bedroom end-of-terrace home in Matchborough puts family life first. There’s a spacious lounge/diner, a conservatory and a well-fitted kitchen, plus a driveway and a garage. A low-maintenance rear garden keeps weekends free. And with the Matchborough Centre shops and a well-known local pub close by, there’s plenty of everyday life nearby.
We asked the owner what made her buy it... “I liked the position of the house, on the end of the row in the cul-de-sac. It felt peaceful, and that appealed to me. The road has a nice feel to it. There are some lovely people who live here, Everybody speaks and says hello, which is lovely. It was the first house I’d seen where I thought I can definitely see us living here.”
What about the house itself? “The house has a lovely cosy feel and provides a nice space to relax at the end of the day. It was quite dated when I bought it, so I’ve made lots of improvements. The living room is light and airy, but it stays nice and cool in the heat. There have been some spectacular sunrises at the back of the house. I work from home, so most days you’ll find me at the dining table. It’s served us perfectly!”
Our agents say... This is a great family home with plenty of practical sense built in. The lounge/diner is the heart of it, with room to relax, eat together or set up a laptop at the dining table. The conservatory adds extra space, and the low-maintenance garden means more time enjoying it and less time working on it.
The owner has been busy. There’s a new bathroom (2024), a new boiler (2024) with the old cylinder tank removed from the airing cupboard, and one bedroom has been replastered (2024). The bedrooms and stairs have new carpets and the bedrooms have been redecorated. The kitchen ceiling is new (2025). The garage gives you space for bikes and garden kit, and the drive means parking is simple.
Outside, the Matchborough Centre has a Morrisons Daily and a handful of takeaways. The Golden Goose, known for its carvery, is close by too. It’s a friendly corner of Redditch with a real community feel. Get in touch today and we’ll show you around.
